Carol E. Kokesh
Director of Graduate Admissions
Carol has been employed by Piedmont College since 1993 as a counselor of non-traditional undergraduate students, as Assistant Director of Academic Support, and a Coordinator of Graduate Admissions. Carol has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Oregon, a Master of Education degree from Francis Marion University, and a Master of Business Administration from Brenau University. Because of this combination of experience, she is very comfortable talking to potential graduate students seeking advanced professional studies in either business or education. Carol believes that Piedmont College is uniquely qualified to fulfill the needs of adults wanting relevant, high-quality, advanced degrees. She strives to provide accessible, professional support for students who want to apply for acceptance to the degree programs that Piedmont College Graduate Studies has to offer. At home, Carol enjoys working in her garden and yard, playing the piano, playing some tennis, volunteering in her church, and traveling to see her family and grandchildren in North Carolina, Texas, and Oregon.

Shirley enjoys reading, spending time with friends, gardening, cooking and, most of all, playing with her grandsons.
