Piedmont sets summer camps for art and theatre
Piedmont College will be hosting two fine arts camps this summer for middle and high school students. An Art Camp will be held June 17–21, with a Musical Theatre Camp the following week on June 24–28. (Brochure)
For the Art Camp, join Professor Chris Kelly and college art students to work on painting, photography and pottery. Morning sessions will explore the world of 2-D art in photography and painting; afternoon sessions will work in sculpture and ceramics. All supplies are included.
The Musical Theatre Camp is directed by professor Bill Gabelhausen and college theatre students. Morning sessions will include group and individual work on stage movement, improvisation, monologue development, character development, and script analysis. After lunch, campers will develop a performance to be presented on Friday afternoon in the Swanson Center Mainstage Theatre.
