The Arrendale Library was built in 1992 and is named for Tom and Winifred Arrendale, thanks to a gift from their children, Piedmont trustee Gus Arrendale and Cyndae Arrendale. The four-story library houses more than 100,000 bound volumes. The School of Education is located on the first floor of the building.
