Piedmont Advances To GSAC Volleyball Semifinal
In quarterfinal action of the 2006 Great South Athletic Conference Volleyball Championship at Piedmont College in Demorest, GA, the host PC Lady Lions advanced to seminfinal action with a 30-20, 30-8, and 30-16 victory over sixth-seeded Spelman College. The third-seeded Lady Lion will now face second-seeded Huntingdon College at 7:00 PM on Court #2.
Piedmont moves to 22-11 overall on the season while Spelman's season ends with a 0-23 overall record.
