Email: lglenn@piedmont.edu

Lee Glenn is entering his fourth season as head coach of the Piedmont College men's basketball program after being promoted to the top spot on May 6th, 2003. He is only PC's fifth head coach since 1948. When promoted to head coach at the age of 29, Glenn became one of the youngest NCAA head coaches in the country.

Prior to being named head coach, Glenn served a one-year term during the 2002-03 season as the top assistant as the Lions posted the seventh-best win total improvement among all NCAA Division-III schools.

Last season's 13-12 record was just the second winning season in the past nine years and marked only the third time in the past 22 years that a Piedmont men's team has improved its win total in back-to-back seasons.

Glenn’s teams have finished ranked in the nation’s top-15 NCAA Division-III teams in scoring average the past two seasons. His squad has been the South Region’s top scoring team for two consecutive years. Last year Glenn’s squad finished ranked in the nation’s top-15 teams in team scoring (14th), assists per game (9th), and steals per game (14th).

In just three years, Glenn has mentored three GSAC All-Conference selections, a pair of GSAC All-Freshman honors, and 16 GSAC All-Academic candidates. His first complete recruiting class included two All-Freshman honors, one All- Conference selection, and the league's Freshman of the Year. In each of Glenn's three years as head coach, his teams have produced the conference's most All-Academic honorees.

Glenn is active in professional associations as he just complete a three-year term as the independent representative on the NCAA Division-III South Region Ranking/Advisory Committee. He is also an active member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Glenn came to Piedmont from Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina where he was the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications. He initially went to MU and served as an assistant coach on the men's basketball staff under head coach David Smith.

In addition to his men's basketball duties, Glenn also serves Piedmont as the head coach of both the men's and women's golf team as well as the Director of Athletic Communications.

Glenn married the former Jocelyn Stallings in December of 2004 and the two reside in Clarkesville, GA with their dogs Ebony and Ivory.
