1st Annual Senior All-Star Game A Huge
Success
The Georgia Basketball Coaches
Association's 1st Annual Senior All-Star game was a huge success
with the white squad earning a hard-fought and entertaining 107-100
victory over the dark team. Columbus State's
Chris Telesford
was named the game's MVP as his 22 points and 12 rebounds led the
white squad. At halftime, Georgia College's
Jake Rios
was crowned the Three-Point Shootout champion with a finals victory
over Berry's Will Blackwell.
Twenty-two players participated in the first-annual event.
GABCA Events Scheduled For Saturday,
March 27, 2010
The Georgia Basketball Coaches
Association has a pair of events scheduled for this Saturday,
March 27th with the association's
annual coaches social set for 5:00 at Galla's Pizza. The
coaches social immediately follows the SEBA All-Star Shootout at
Oglethorpe University. Following the social, the group will
return to OU for the
1st Annual GABCA
Senior All-Star game featuring 22 seniors from member
institutions which is set to tip off at 7:30. There will be a
three-point shootout at halftime of the all-star game.

5:00-6:30 -- 2nd Annual GABCA Spring Coaches Social -- Galla's Pizza
6:30 -- All-Star participants check in
7:30 -- 1st Annual GABCA Senior Showcase Game
8:15 -- Three-Point Shootout at
halftime of All-Star game
9:30 -- Post game pizzas and drinks served to All-Star participants

The 2nd Annual GABCA Coaches
Fall Social will be held in
conjunction with the
Southeast Basketball Academy's Atlanta All-Star Shootout on
Saturday, September 19th
at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. The event ends at around
6:00 PM, and we will have our social at Galla's Pizza located just a
half mile from OU's campus.
We will meet 15 minutes after the SEBA event is over.
All-you-can-eat wings and pizza and
non-alcoholic beverages are covered with paid 2009-10 membership dues.

have our social just down the street (less than a mile) at
Pig 'N Chik BBQ.
We will meet 15 minutes after the SEBA event is over. Food
(BBQ sandwich/plate with two sides) and non-alcoholic beverages are
covered with membership dues.
