All-State Awards
Beginning with the 2007-2008 season, the GABCA will
sponsor a year-end All-State honor roll for each association within
the membership. For a school to be represented on the GABCA
All-State awards, the member institution's head coach must be a
dues-paying member.
All divisions (NCAA Division-II, NCAA Division-III, NAIA, NCCAA, and
Junior College divisions will feature one All-State team with an additional compilation of Honorable Mention
honorees.
Additionally, each division will award one Player of the Year, one
Coach of the Year, and one Newcomer of the Year award.
The GABCA will award an All-State Academic team. In order for
student-athletes to be eligible for this honor they must maintain a
3.0 cumulative GPA.
The year-end GABCA awards will be announced at the end of the
basketball regular season.
