Entering his second season as the head
coach of both the Piedmont College men's and women's golf teams is Lee
Glenn. Glenn also serves PC as the head men's basketball coach as
well as the Director of Athletic Communications.
Last season, Glenn led the PC men's team to their first-ever
National Christian College Athletic Association National
Championship appearance where the Lions finished 9th in the
Division-I final standings. He also tutored one NCCAA
Academic All-American in his first campaign.
Glenn is no stranger to successful
collegiate golf as
he promoted three NCAA Division-III Women's Golf National Championships
as Director of Athletic Communications at Methodist College in
Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Glenn is an active member of the United States Golf Association, the
National Golf Coaches Association, and the Golf Coaches Association of
America.
Prior to his assignment at Methodist,
Glenn was the Director of Junior High Athletics and coached various
sports at Keystone Heights (FL) High School. In addition to being
on the 1999 boy's basketball coaching staff that led the Indians to
their first-ever FHSAA Final Four appearance, he compiled a 139-26
record and two FHSAA state tournament appearances as the head coach of
the boy's and girl's tennis teams. Glenn also held down the post
as head junior-high football coach where he led his 80-man roster to an
11-3 record in two seasons.
