Peeples, Head Coach

Coach Peeples is entering his sixth year as head coach of the Piedmont
College baseball program. Last season he led the Lions to a 27-17
as the Lions claimed the school's first-ever Great South Athletic
Conference regular-season champinoship.
In his five seasons, Peeples has totaled a 117-115 overall record
for a .504 career winning percentage. He has led the Lions to one
GSAC tournament championship, one GSAC regular-season championship,
and two appearances in the National Christian College Athletic Association
College World Series in Celina, OH.
Peeples spent the previous nine years as an assistant at Methodist
College where he helped guide the team to a 270–118 record.
During his nine years the team won six DIAC Conference championships,
made six trips to the NCAA-III National Tournament, and two NCAA-III
College World Series trips and the 1995 team finished as the national
runner up. The two years prior to that Peeples coached at Wesleyan
University in Middletown, CT where the team won back-to-back conference
championships and the 1992 team won the ECAC Championship.
Coach Peeples started his coaching career at his alma mater Westminster
College where the football team went 27–0 during the 1988–89
campaigns winning back to back NAIA National Football Championships.

Richard Dombrowsky, Assistant Coach

Richard Dombrowsky is entering his fifth season as an assistant coach
on Jim Peeples' staff. The Manassas, VA native graduated from Methodist
(NC) College in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. He earned
a master's degree in Business Administration from Piedmont College
in 2004.
In addition to his baseball duties, Dombrowksy also serves Piedmont
as the Director of Sports Information where he handles event management
and media relations for the college's 13 intercollegiate sports.
While at Methodist, Dombrowsky was a four-year starter on the Monarch
baseball team which made three NCAA-III post-season appearances. In
2002, he captained the Monarch squad to a #1 NCAA Division-III national
ranking for eight consecutive weeks.
Dombrowsky resides in Buford, GA and is married to the former Adrienne
Midgley.
Justin Scali, Assistant Coach

Justin Scali
enters his third season as an assistant baseball coach at Piedmont
College after serving a two-year stint as an assistant coach and
recruiting coordinator at Ohio Northern University in Ada, OH.
The Baldwin, NY native helped lead Methodist College to a NCAA Division-III
#1 national ranking for eight weeks during his senior season with
the Monarchs. He was a four-year letter-winner at Methodist where
served as team captain his senior year and participated in three
NCAA-III South Regional championships.
Scali earned his Masters Degree in Business Adminstration from Piedmont
College in the fall of 2005.
Scali has also served as the pitching coach the past two summers
for the Lima Locos, a member of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate
Baseball League and one of the eight sanctioned NCAA summer baseball
leagues. The 2004 team won the regular-season and tournament championships.
Scali will oversee the Piedmont College pitchers and recruiting
efforts. In addition to his baseball responsibilities, Scali serves
as an Admissions Advisor in the PC Undergraduate Office of Admissions.
