NCAA Division-III
Based in Indianapolis, the NCAA is an organization through which
the nation's colleges and universities speak and act on athletics
matters at a national level. It is a voluntary association of approximately
1200 institutions, conferences, organizations and individuals devoted
to the sound administration of intercollegiate athletics. For more
information visit the NCAA's official website at www.ncaa.org.
Great South Athletic Conference
The purpose of the GSAC is to provide an association through which
the membership may encourage organized competition in intercollegiate
sports. In particular, we recognize athletics as integral to the
campus life program of our students and as essential to the total
development of our student-athletes. We direct significant institutional
resources to our athletic programs to assure that student-athletes
have appropriate coaching, facilities, equipment, and opportunities
for travel to compete against other conference schools. The GSAC
is comprised of seven NCAA Division-III member institutions in Alabama,
Georgia, and Tennessee. For more information visit the GSAC's official
website at www.greatsouth.org.
