Women's Golf Team Finishes 12th At Stonebridge Invitational

The Piedmont College women's golf team had the final day of its fall semester schedule rained out this afternoon as the team finished 12th at the rain-shortened Stonebridge Invitational. Piedmont was the only NCAA Division-III team in the field comprised of nationally-ranked NAIA teams.

Piedmont's team score of 394 was the highest of the season for the Lady Lions but came on a very long and tough course in wet and rainy conditions. Lynne Laseter and Tiffany Foster led the team as they both careded team-best 95's.

The Lady Lions will return to action when they kick off the spring semester portion of their schedule on March 13th with a dual match versus Rhodes College.
