Men's Golf Team Rained Out On Final Day Of Chic-Fil-A Collegiate

The Piedmont College men's golf team had its final round of competition for the fall season rained out today as the Chic-Fil-A Collegiate hosted by Berry College at Coosa Country Club in Rome, GA was shortened to an 18-hole event. Piedmont's team score of 324 placed the squad 19th out of 21 teams in a predominately NAIA field.

The Lions' team score of 324 was the highest of the fall semester as only one player was able to break 80. Andy Cartwright continued his strong play with a team-best 77 (+5) which was good for a tie for 39th out of over 110 golfers.

The Lions will return to action when they kick off the spring semester portion of their schedule as the team travels to Pine Mountain, GA for the Callaway Collegiate Invitational at Callaway Gardens.
