Men's Tennis Team Advances To GSAC Championship

In search of its seventh straight Great South Athletic Confernce men's tennis championship, the Piedmont College men's tennis team advanced to the 2007 championship match with a 5-0 shutout over fourth-seeded LaGrange College this afternoon in Montgomery, AL. The Lions won a pair of matches via a forfeit and allowed only one game to be scored against them in the other three deciding matches.

The Lions now stand at 7-10 overall. The victory pits PC against third-seeded Maryville College tomorrow, April 22nd beginning at 12:00 CST.
