Women's
Tennis Team Falls To Mississippi College
For the fourth straight
time the Piedmont College women's tennis team lost, this time at the
hands of Mississippi College, by the score of 7-2 in Sewanee, TN. The
Lady Lions could only win lone matches in the singles and doubles and
dropped the five-point decision.
Tyler Baldonado
was able to pull out her singles match winning in straight sets 6-4,
6-2. The tandem of Mindy Pfeiffer and Stephanie Smith were victorious
in doubles winning 8-5.
The loss drops Piedmont to 3-11 overall. The Lady Lions will return
to the court again on Tuesday, April 17th as they host non-conference
opponent North Greenville University beginning at 2:00.
