Men's Tennis Team Wins Exciting Regional Contest Over Averett 5-4

In a tight match the Piedmont College men's tennis team won four of the six singles matches to edge regional host Averett University 5-4 this morning in Danville, VA. Mike Robertson, David Gillispie, Michael Madden and Jake LeMaster won their singles matches in straight sets propelling the Lions to the big victory.

The win moves Piedmont to 6-6 overall. The Lions will return to action again later this afternoon with a neutral site contest versus Methodist University.
