Women's
Tennis Drops Tight 5-4 GSAC Decision To Visiting Maryville
In a closely contested
match the Piedmont College women's team dropped its third Great South
Athletic Conference match to visiting Maryville College this afternoon
at Walker Tennis Courts. The Scots were able to win two of the three
doubles matches en route to the victory as both teams split the six
singles matches.
The loss drops PC
to 4-8 overall and 3-3 in the GSAC. Piedmont will return to the court
again on Tuesday, April 10th as they host NCAA Division-II opponent
North Georgia College & State University with first serve slated
for 4:00.
