Concord University Defeats Women's Tennis Team 8-1

The Piedmont College women's tennis team fell this afternoon in Milledgeville, GA to Concord University by the score of 8-1. The Lady Lions were blanked in doubles and could only pull off one singles match in the defeat.

Mindy Pfeiffer was the lone bright spot winning her #1 singles match in a pair of tiebreakers. The Lady Lions will turn around and square-off against NCAA Division-II host Georgia College and State University shortly and enter the match with an overall record of 1-5.
