Men's Golf Team Opens 2007 Spring Season At Callaway Collegiate Invitational

The Piedmont College men's golf team opened up its 2007 spring semester tournament schedule over the beginning of its Spring Break as the Lions finished 16th at the Callaway Collegiate Invitational at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, GA. PC carded a 36-hole total of 343-331--674 which was good for 16th place in the 17-team field.

Piedmont's Andy Carwright was the Lions' top finisher as the senior posted a 82-78--160 which was good for a tie for 50th in the 90-player field. Teammate Matt Howell finished tied for 56th with a 82-79--161.

The Lions will return to action on March 18-19 when they host the Piedmont College Spring Invitational at The Creek at Hard Labor State Park in Rutledge, GA.
