Piedmont Falls At CNU In Battle Of Regionally-Ranked Teams

The Piedmont College men's tennis team came up on the short end of the battle of Atlantic-South regionally-ranked teams as 12th-ranked host Christopher Newport University defeated the 15th-ranked Lions 8-1 in Newport News, VA. Chris Leonardo earned the Lions' lone point with a 7-5, 7-6 victory at #4 singles.

Piedmont returns to action on Sunday, March 4th when the Lions take on 8th ranked Salibury University at a neutral site in Newport News, VA.
