Women's
Tennis Team Picks Up First Victory Of The Season
After dropping their
first three matches of the season, the Piedmont College women's tennis
team defeated Great South Athletic Conference host Wesleyan College
this afternoon in Macon, GA by the score of 8-1. The Lady Lions swept
all three doubles matches and won five out of the six singles matches
en route to the victory.
The win moves PC
to 1-3 overall and 1-2 in the Great South Athletic Conference. The women
will return to action again on Thursday, March 1st as they travel to
USA-South Athletic Conference member Ferrum College in Ferrum, VA with
first serve slated for 2:00.
