Women's
Tennis Team Drops Tight 5-4 GSAC Decision To LaGrange
The Piedmont College
women's tennis team lost this afternoon at Walker Courts in Demorest,
GA in a closely contested match with visiting Great South Athletic Conference
opponent LaGrange College by the score of 5-4. Two of the three doubles
matches went to tiebreakers with LC winning both and sealing the one-point
league victory.
The Lady Lions fall
to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in Great South action. The women will return
to action again on Monday, February 26th as they travel to conference
host Wesleyan College in Macon, GA beginning at 3:00.
