PC Women's Basketball Team Places Three Players On All-Conference Team

The Piedmont College women's basketball team was well-represented in the Great South Athletic Conference's women's basketball year-end honors as three Lady Lions garnered All-Conference distinction. Beth Adcock, Yetta Bailey, and Nikki Sosebee were each named to the All-Conference team.

Additionally freshman Lisa Jennings was voted to the league's All-Freshman team while eight Lady Lions were honored as All-Academic selections.

Beth Adcock, Haley Boyce, Jammie Boyce, Danielle Dutcher, Sarah Lane, Stephanie Rainwater, Sosebee, and Sheena Trimiar were all honored with the league's academic honor.

Adcock finished the season third in the conference in assists at 3.2 per game and was the league's top free throw shooter at 81% on the season. She averaged 10.8 points per game through 23 games.

Bailey was the team's third-leading scorer (9.9 ppg) and rebounder (5.5). Just last week the junior forward was voted the conference's Player of the Week.

Sosebee finished the regular-season as the team's leading scorer at 11.5 points per game which placed her fifth in the conference. Her team-best 8.1 rebounds was also sixth-best in the conference.

Jennings started nine games as a freshman point guard averaging 4.8 points per game while dishing out the team's second most assists (55).
