Piedmont's Beth Adcock Named GSAC Women's Basketball Player Of The Week
Piedmont
College women's basketball player Beth Adcock has been honored by the
Great South Athletic Conference in the league's weekly honor roll as
the women's basketball Player of the Week. The conference honor is the
second consecutive for the PC women's basketball program as teammate
Kayla Duncan earned last week's ititial honor.
In three games last week, Adcock averaged 10 points and five assists
per game. The freshman guard also pulled down 12 rebounds and had seven
steals. She was named the Most Valuable Player at the Inn-Keeper I-95
Turkey Shootout hosted by Methodist College after recording 16 points
and four steals against Ferrum. In the win over Methodist, she added
seven points, nine assists, and seven rebounds.
Piedmont returns to action on Thursday, December 1st when the Lady Lions
play host to Emory University with tip-off set for 6:00 PM in the Johnny
Mize Athletic Center.
