PC Women's Soccer Falls To Greensboro College 2-0

The Piedmont College women's soccer team fell to non-conference host Greensboro College in Greensboro, NC by the score of 2-0. The match marked the final regular-season contest for the Lady Lions.

PC allowed a goal at 9:00 minute mark and entered the intermission down 1-0. In the second half Greensboro earned the insurance goal at the 48:00 mark, and the Lady Lions were not able to respond.

Michelle Holland (pictured) earned 12 saves in goal and Katie Wood, Jammie Boyce and Ashley Parker all earned a shot on goal apiece. The shutout marks only the third time this season the Lady Lions have been held scoreless.

The loss completes the regular-season for PC who finishes at 11-6 overall. The Lady Lions return to action again on Friday, November 4th as they face Agnes Scott College in the Great South Athletic Conference tournament semifinals with kick-off slated for 3:00.
