PC Men's Soccer Falls To Maryville College 1-0The Piedmont College men's soccer team fell to Great South Athletic Conference host Maryville College in Maryville, TN by the score of 1-0. The loss ends the Lions' five-game winning streak and marks their second conference loss of the season.
Alan Creasy earned the only shot on goal for PC and the Lions were outshot 5-1. Patrick Ratigan earned five saves between the posts. There were 32 total fouls and four yellow cards issued in the contest.
The loss drops PC to 8-7 overall and 5-2 in the Great South Athletic Conference. The Lions will return to action again on Tuesday, October 18th as they host GSAC opponent Huntingdon College on Walker Field with kick-off set for 7:00.
