PC Flawless In Victories Over Spelman & Brenau

The PC volleyball team did not drop a single set en route to a pair of victories over visiting Great South Athletic Conference opponent Spelman College and non-conference Brenau University tonight in the Johnny Mize Athletic Center. The Lady Lions defeated Spelman 30-22, 30-14, 30-19 and Brenau 30-14, 30-18, 30-14.

Jacque DeMarrais (pictured) led PC with 10 kills in each contest, while Meghann Clark added a total of 19 kills on the evening. B.J. Ostrzycki added a total of 59 assists including a game-high 35 against Spelman.

Sarah Lane also chipped-in with 18 total kills and freshman Callie Keen added 11 total kills including a career high seven kills in the opening match.

The victories improve the Lady Lions to 12-7 overall and 8-2 in the Great South Athletic Conference. PC returns to action again on Friday, October 7th as they travel to Greensboro, NC for the Guilford College Invitational beginning at 3:30.
