Men's Golf Team Finishes 7th At ACC Charger Classic

The Piedmont College men's golf team opened up its 2005 fall semester schedule this afternoon with a seventh-place finish out of 10 schools at the 3rd Annual ACC Charger Kick-Off Classic at Wolf Creek Golf Course in East Point, GA. Piedmont's Stephen Giddens led the Lions with a three-over par 75 which was good for a tie for fourth out of over 50 golfers.

As a team, the Lions made the turn at seven-over par but struggled on the back nine en route to a team score of 328.

Piedmont returns to action on Tuesday, September 27th when the Lions host The Orchard Fall Invitational at The Orchard Golf & Country Club.
