Announces eScores Partnership With Stretch Internet
The Piedmont College Office of Sports Information is proud to announce
a new eScores partnership with Stretch Internet which will allow for
an updated version of the current E-News Service. Additionally, Lions
fans will be able to access PC Athletics scores from anywhere by virtue
of instant text-messaging via your cell phone.
The new program will allow Piedmont College Athletics fans to receive
the latest scores, news, press releases, and reminders through both
conventional email as well as cell phones. As soon as news or scores
are released fans will get the information now in a more modern and
technological fashion.
Previous subscribers to the Piedmont College Athletics E-News Service
have already been imported into the eScores database and should log
onto the system to modify their accounts to receive scores sport-specific
and to activate the cell phone text-messaging feature.
First-time
subscribers to the new Piedmont College eScores program should click
the link to the left to sign up for the service and remain informed.
An additional route to the registration is available at www.piedmontlions.com,
the official website of Piedmont College Athletics.
“This partnership with Stretch Internet will allow Piedmont College
Athletic followers of all generations to keep up with the most current
events of their favorite Lion teams. The text-messaging feature will
allow fans to get the scores immediately at the conclusion of the game
regardless of their proximity to a computer,” stated Director
of Athletic Communications Lee Glenn.
Stretch Internet is based in Fullerton, CA and specializes in the online
broadcasting and the online promotion of intercollegiate athletics.
