Head Coach Jim Peeples Highlights GSAC Baseball Year-End Awards

Piedmont College head baseball coach Jim Peeples highlighted the Great South Athletic Conference baseball year-end awards announced this afternoon in conjunction with the conference championship tournament held at PC's Walker Field as he was named the league's Coach of the Year. PC had six players earn All-Conference honors, two named to the All-Freshman team, and five garner All-Academic status.

Piedmont's Cole Spedale (outfield), Travis Hunt (outfield), Mike Santowski (infield), Andy House (DH), Blake Thomas (pitcher), and Bill Secor (pitcher) were each voted as All-Conference selections.

Andy Graf and Brandon Hitch each garnered All-Freshman honors while Tim Jones joined House, Santowski, Spedale, and Secor on the All-Academic team.

The Coach of the Year honor is the first ever for Peeples who is in his fifth year as head coach.
