Lady Lion Golfers Post Record Day At Brown's Mill

The Piedmont College women's golf team posted one of its best days as the first-year program carded three scores under 95 for only the second time in the history of the program at a dual match versus Spelman College held at Brown's Mill Golf Course in Atlanta, GA.

The dual match featured only three players from each team with Piedmont winning 275-343. PC players finished in the top-three spots led by Lynne Laseter's 86 (+14) which was tops in the six-player event. Teammates Maleah Kelly and Jennifer Hewett finished second and third respectively with scores of 94 and 95.

Laseter's 86 was the third-best score in the program's history with Kelly's and Hewett's scored each being their personal second-bests.

Piedmont will wrap up the 2005-2006 season on Saturday, April 22nd as the Lady Lions take part in the Old Bridge Invitational hosted by Centre College in Danville, KY.
