Lions Roll To 15-7 Victory Over Sewanee
The Piedmont College baseball team rolled
to their 20th victory of the season by defeating visiting University
of the South this afternoon at Loudermilk Field by the score of 15-7.
The Lions scored 11 runs in the first three innings en route to victory.
PC recorded 19 hits and scored in six
of eight innings on offense to equal their third highest output of runs
for the season. Andy Graf picked up his third consecutive victory on
the mound improving his record to 4-1 for the season.
Andy House led the Lions at the plate
by going 2-4 with four RBI's including a three-run homerun. Mike Santowski
went 3-6 with four RBI's and Walker Searcy added a 2-4 day with three
RBI's and three runs scored.
The victory moves PC to 20-13 overall.
The Lions return to action again on Thursday, April 13th as they travel
to Great South Athletic Conference foe Maryville College in Maryville,
TN for a 7:00 game.
