Piedmont Men's Golf Team Matches Low Round Of Year In Dual Match Victory
The Piedmont College men's golf team matched its lowest 18-hole score of the 2004-2005 season this afternoon as the Lions carded a 303 (+15) en route to winning a dual match against Webster University (330) at The Orchard Golf & Country Club in Clarkesville, GA.  The team score matches the Lions' season-best recorded last fall at the Milligan College Invitational.  The victory is also Piedmont's third title of the season.

PC's Stephen Giddens (FR/Trion, GA) earned low medalist honors in the 13-player field with a one-under par 71.

The Lions will be in action again on March 18th through the 20th when they travel to Jekyll Island, GA to take part in the 24-team Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational on the island's Oleander Course.
