Piedmont Men's Golf Team Finishes 15th At Callaway
Collegiate Invitational
The Piedmont College men's golf team posted a pair of
18-hole scores of 331 for a two-day total of 662 and a 15th
place finish out of 18 teams at the 2005 Callaway Collegiate
Invitational held at the Mountain View Course at Callaway
Gardens.
Piedmont's Stephen Giddens
(FR/Trion, GA) carded scores of 76-77--153 which was
good for a tie for 16th place out of 97 golfers. The tournament field featured 11 teams ranked
in the nation's top-50 NCAA Division-III teams.
The Lions will be in action again on March 18th through the
20th when they travel to Jekyll Island, GA to take part in
the 24-team Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational on the
island's Oleander Course.
