Piedmont
College in Demorest participates in 13 intercollegiate sports including seven
for women and six for men. PC fields squads in men’s and
women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer,
and volleyball in the fall season. The winter season is made up
of men’s and women’s basketball while the spring sports
are baseball, softball, men’s and women’s golf, and
men’s and women’s tennis. Since the fall of 2003 Piedmont
has been an active member of NCAA Division-III with additional
affiliations with the Great South Athletic Conference and the
National Christian College Athletic Association. For more information

Since becoming
an active member of NCAA Division-III, Piedmont College has earned
four NCAA National Tournament appearances. Additionally, the Lions
have won nineteen Great South Athletic Conference championships
since 2000, which is second among all eight member institutions.
In just five years, Piedmont has garnered four difference GSAC
Presidents' Cups which recognize the league's overall winning
program. PC has also made its presence known in the National Christian
College Athletic Association at the national level with sixteen top-10
finishes and 18 NCCAA National Tournament appearances.
