The Piedmont College Chorale will present its 22nd Annual Service of Lessons and Carols at 7:30 p.m., Dec. 3 and 4 in the chapel on the Demorest campus. The performances are free and everyone is invited.

Directed by Lauren Ringwall, the ensemble will be accompanied by organist Joy Hayner and the Flowery Branch High School Advanced Mixed Chorus, conducted by Stacie Mavis. Soloists include Piedmont music professors Andrea Price and Jonathan Pilkington.

The Chorale, which is comprised of singers from the college and across northeast Georgia, will perform works by Handel, John Rutter, Carl Schalk, and Hector Berlioz, along with traditional carols and hymns of the holiday season, during which the audience will be invited to sing.

During the performance, Piedmont faculty and staff will read lessons from the Bible, including excerpts from St. Luke, St. Matthew, Isaiah, and Genesis.
