The Piedmont College Department of Art has big news! A new state-of-the-art facility is being built to house the Department of Art. There are big changes coming in the next year and a half!

In addition to the new facilities, The Art Gallery in downtown Demorest is being renovated to create an elegant showroom for the college's permanent collection of art as well as exhibits by students, faculty, and guest artists. Due to this major renovation, no public art shows are currently scheduled for the 2010-2011 season.

Due to the rennovations in our Art Gallery building, Painting, Photography and Graphic Design studios have moved to one of our new locations. These departments can now be found in the former Marten's Botanical Center. Take a moment to visit the new design + photography lab as well as the new painting studio. Professors Jones and Professor Botts now have offices in the Marten's building.
