Though raised in Tennessee and Florida, Wendy considers Georgia her home. She received her B.A. in English from Wesleyan College in Macon, Ga., in 1990. After graduation, she lived and worked in London and Atlanta for a few years before accepting a position at her alma mater as an admission counselor for two years. She then spent four years as the Admissions Coordinator and Academic & College Counselor at the Alabama School of Math and Science in Mobile. Wendy returned to Macon and Wesleyan in 2000 as the Associate Director of Admission while pursuing her MBA degree, which she received in August 2002. Wendy has also held the position of Director of Financial Aid at Wesleyan before spending the past three years as the Director of Career Development and Internships. Wendy has spent her career helping students make the right choice for their future, whether for internships, career counseling, the graduate school process or college admissions. Wendy has high goals for Piedmont's growth on both the Demorest and Athens campuses. She welcomes the opportunity to meet students in the southern half of Georgia and Alabama and assist them in the admissions process.
