ARRENDALE
LIBRARY
The Arrendale
Library was built in 1992 and is named for Tom and Winifred
Arrendale, thanks to a gift from their children, Piedmont trustee
Gus Arrendale and his sister, Cyndae Arrendale. The four-story library houses
more
than 70,000 titles, 120,000 volumes, a Worldwide-Web accessible
catalog, Internet connections to more than seventy remote databases,
individual seating for more than one hundred library users,
three group-study rooms, twenty-two public-access computers,
and two conference rooms; and it is handicapped-accessible.
The School of Education is located on the first floor of the
building.
