Fine Arts College Experience (F.A.C.E)

October 25–26 and January 31-February 1

A Time to Remember

Visit the campus, stay over with a Piedmont student majoring in your area of interest, and be immersed in some of the activities of college life.

This event is for students who have an interest in the visual arts, theatre, music, or creative writing. The weekend will begin at 5 pm, Thursday, after registration. Activities will conclude Friday afternoon between 1–4 pm, with check-out in Brooks Hall. This program is for 11th and 12th grade students only. Housing and meals are provided.

Please complete registration online for with the paper form (form may be duplicated) and return by October 18, 2012, for the October event, Or January 24, 2013, for the February event.

Departmental Activities

Thursday

After dinner on Thursday night, all students will have the opportunity to attend a live music or theatre performance right here on campus. A special reception for FACE students and their hosts will follow. Finally, FACE students will end their evening with activities hosted by their respective departments.

Friday

After breakfast, FACE students are encouraged to sit in on any of the Fine Arts or Writing classes. Performance evaluations, portfolio review, and creative writing workshops will be held after lunch. A schedule of Friday classes, times, and locations will be sent in the acceptance packet.
