Chicago-based Fifth House Ensemble will bring their unique brand of chamber music to Piedmont College in Demorest for a concert at 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 14 in the Chapel.

Praised by The New York Times for their "conviction, authority, and finesse," the ensemble harnesses the collaborative spirit of chamber music to create transformative cross-media experiences that bring together elements as diverse as storytelling, physical theatre, graphic novels, and fashion design.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students. Piedmont faculty, staff and students are admitted free. The Chapel is located at 992 Central Avenue Demorest.

The group includes Melissa Snoza, who won First Prize at the National Flute Association's Orchestral Audition Competition, as well as being selected as a winner of Northwestern University's Concerto Competition. Herine Coetzee on cello was a 2002 prizewinner in the Indiana University Cello Concerto Competition and has performed with the National Repertory Orchestra and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Pianist Jani Parsons has performed across the U.S. and Canada, including the  Chan Centre for the Arts, Banff Centre for the Arts, Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art, and Chicago's Ravinia Festival.

For the Piedmont concert, the group will perform works by Bohuslav Martinú, Heitor Villa Lobos, Astor Piazzolla, Aaron Copland, and George Crumb.
