Students participate in a 16-week session where they must spend a total of 90 hours in the classroom. The days of the week and time will be decided between the Piedmont student and the classroom teacher. Practicumstudents are required to do basic observations, two one-on-one tutoring sessions, two small group lessons, two large group lessons and a research paper. The students will also bring a list of supplemental activities to share with the classroom teacher that they are to complete over the course of the semester.
